KoMo PK1 - Grain Mill

Product Description

The PK1 - the KoMo mill almost too pretty to use! Striking hexagonal housing of smooth, solid beechwood. Easy to clean and maintain. A successful design for over 12 years. The PK1 has the same technical specifications as the KoMo Fidibus Classic. The KoMo PK1 is our largest mill, with a convincing grinding capacity. Whether it be barley, oats, millet, corn, rice, rye, wheat or spelt, the KoMo PK1's hopper will hold a whole kilo of grain. This grain mill will effortlessly transform grain into the finest flour. One man runs behind the history of three of these companies. Wolfgang Mock developed the first Hawos mill in 1978. In 1997, he started marketing the "Fidibus" brand mills for a new company named after himself: Wolfgang Mock GMBH. In 2001, Wolfgang joined forces with another mill designer, Peter Koidl, and the two continued to market Fidibus mills under the Komo brand-"Ko" for Koidl, "Mo" for Mock. In the States, confusingly, mills are still sometimes found under the Wolfgang brand.KoMo is the current most modern rendition of the efforts of Peter and Wolfgang. You will love this mill.
